Conway Cabernet Sauvignon, Happy Canyon 2013Conway Cabernet Sauvignon, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara, 2013 Our inaugural vintage of Conway Santa Barbara County Cabernet Sauvignon offers enticing aromas of Blackberry, Cassis, Vanilla, and sweet floral notes. Firm tannins add structure and complexity to rich layers of Blackberry, Dark Chocolate, and Plum. Each bottle of Conway Wine Represents our Family's passion for producing excellent wines that are meant to be shared and enjoyed by all. Harvest took place on several dates between October 5th and October 18th of 2013 according to grape maturity and optimum ripeness. All fruit was de-stemmed and sorted through a Pellanc, which is a state of- the-art sorting system designed to gently and accurately separate undesired stems from the grapes. Primary fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks. The wine was racked to barrels to complete malolactic fermentation. Aged for 16 months in 30% new French oak barrels and 70% neutral barrels. Granted AVA status in 2009, the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara appellation is quickly gaining popularity within our region and elsewhere. A sub-ava within the Santa Ynez Valley and the greater Santa Barbara region, Happy Canyon experiences the warmest temperatures in the valley,. This micro-climate is ideal for growing Boreaux varietals. The soil type is a mixture of loam and clay loam with red and yellow chert and serpentine cobbles. Historically, the area gets it name from the prohibition era, when simple alcohol was proceed nearby. Local lore has it that people would "take a trip up Happy Canyon" to purchase moonshine.

A to Z Wineworks BubblesThe lovely, pale pink A to Z Bubbles invite with juicy, ripe fruit aromas. Rene Lequin-Colin Bourgogne Chardonnay 2010This is the only wine in the Lequin-Colin collection that isn't 100% barrel fermented. It is 50% in tank and 50% in barrel, of which 10% was new in Chassin and Rousseau French oak, so there is a total of 5% new oak on this everyday chardonnay. The grapes come from plots in Santenay: "Lavau" near the village, and "Corpeau" which is located below the village of Puligny-Montrachet. The grapes from the plot "Corpeau" are purchased from organic producer friends of François, but François manages the viticulture, the harvest and the ultimate pressing and winemaking. The result is a fresh, citrusy and long chardonnay squarely in the AOC of Burgundy, but without pretense or artifice.
Rene Lequin-Colin Bourgogne Rouge 2010This wine comes from two parcels in Santenay: "Chassey-le-Camps" and "Lavau." Lavau is planted half to chardonnay (which goes into the "Retour aux Racine" bottling) and half to pinot noir. For this basic pinot noir, the grapes were co-fermented 10% whole cluster with the rest being de-stemmed. Fermentation lasted two and a half weeks after which it was put into barrel for 1 year, only 10% of which was new. It's juicy, spicy and everything you'd want in a basic Burgundy.

A blend of Fresno Syrah and Carignan and Mendocino Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine should age well for a few years...if it lasts. This is a gluten free and vegan wine with not detectable sulfites.

This wine has a medium finish that is balanced with nice tannins and acidity.
Monde Eau Columbia Valley Chardonnay 2015Bright and layered aromas of green apple, peach, and butterscotch, with a nice touch of nutmeg and mineral on the nose. This wine intrigues you with a great diversity of flavors on the palate, from mangos, nectarine, and green bananas to a slight hint of slate. Very well balanced wine with a nice touch of acidity on the bright long finish.
