A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir 2016 750mlClear and vibrant, the 2014 A to Z Oregon Pinot Noir opens with rich primary aromas of strawberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, even cranberries, developing to violets, red currants, pipe tobacco, iron and wet stone. The attack is beautifully balanced between richness and brightness with hints of roses, honeysuckle, red and blue fruit flavors. The mid-palate reveals ripe tannins and crisp acidity with a touch of minerality and spice (cinnamon, anise, saffron, sandalwood) lending greater complexity. This wine, succulent with great concentration, finishes long and rich with classic Oregon freshness. The harmony and depth of the 2014 Oregon vintage are on full display in the 2014 A to Z Wineworks Pinot Noir. Built for mid-term aging, this wine has great integrity and should drink well on release and for the next 3-5 years. Ranked the #9 Red Wine in our February 10, 2018 "Big Taste" of The Vineyard Wine Tasting Event. Rather than rely on the palette of one wine buyer, we consider these wines taste-tested and approved by our customers who voted with their dollars at our wine “Big Taste” wine event.
Bodegas Borsao Garnacha 2017 750mlOur #9 Red Wine from our June 16, 2018 "Big Taste" of The Vineyard Wine Tasting Event. Cherry red with violet nuances. Has a ripe fruit nose with floral tones. Full bodied wine, spicy and with a complex and long aftertaste.
Carton Brewing Beach Session Ale 4 pack 16 oz. CanLike the tension and relief of a day spent flitting between laying on sand under the beating sun and bobbing on the ocean's cool surf, summer session drinking needs leisurely contrast. With Beach we find that midpoint where Kolsch yeast's fruity character matches its lean dryness and where an amber's roundness gets pulled taut by cracker notes. The hops' fruity aromatics flow, and the bitterness ebbs, with a swash of orange zest to be clean and lean, bitter and bright. Drink Beach and be chill.
A to Z Wineworks Riesling 2018 750mlBrilliant and clear with emerald highlights, the 2018 A to Z Wineworks Oregon Riesling is expressive and expansive on the nose. Initial lime zest and tangerine aromas mingle with gooseberry, apricot, meringue, honey, mint, jasmine, gardenia, and green tea. The palate is impeccably balanced with refreshing mouth-watering acidity and a bare touch of sweetness. It is bright, intense and exotic with ample richness and texture that lingers, finishing clean, fresh and juicy. Fun and serious all at the same time, this wine will gain in complexity over the next ten years, but it would be a shame to wait that long. Although delicious by itself, this is an excellent food wine that pairs well, even with spicy dishes.
French Blue Rose 2018 750mlRanked the #1 White, Rosé, Sparkling Wine in our May 19, 2019 "Big Taste" of The Vineyard Wine Tasting Event. Very attractive pale pink color with strawberry-tinged appearance. The predominantly Cabernet blend balances extremely well with the lovely aromatic freshness of the red berry fruits (strawberries and red currants); and good structure, with the finesse and fleshy character of the Merlot. Very well balanced and fresh, the wine culminates in a very aromatic and lingering finish. Excellent as an aperitif or with white meats and fish.
