Domaine de Colette Moulin a Vent 2016
|Region||France, Beaujolais, Moulin á Vent|
|Brand||Domaine de Colette|
A ruby, well-built wine with silky tannins from which iris, fully-blown rose, spice and ripe fruit aromas develop. It owed its qualities to the manganese-rich granitic soil the vines grow in. Food Pairing: Strip steak, Game, Matured cheeses.
Owner Jacky Gauthier has produced a rich wine from low-yielding vines. The tannins and dark, firm texture are both rich and well placed to support the black-plum and berry fruits. This ripe wine will be ready to drink from late 2018.
Please Note: The Vineyard is not responsible for wine that arrives damaged due to heat or cold.
Gambino Winery Jules Rose Sparkling WineRanked the #16 White, Sparkling & Rosé Wine in our Sept. 23, 2017 "Big Taste" of The Vineyard Wine Tasting Event. Extra dry rose sparkling wine from Italy. Just a hint of sweetness. Everyone needs a little sweetness and sparkle in their life.
Mount Peak Gravity Red Blend 2015A dense, dark blend that is a vivid expression of the power and depth.
Orin Swift 8 Years In The Desert Red 2017Dark garnet with a lucid rim, the wine exhibits aromas of briar fruit, ripe blackberry and dark plum with a tinge of minerality and charred meat. Brawny on the entry, it has an equally big mid-palate with complex flavors of ripe brambly fruit, a touch of earth and notes of espresso bean. Still massive through to the finish with soft drying tannins, the unique varietal characteristics of the blend clearly reveal themselves over time.
