Erath Pinot Noir 2016
Ranked the #9 Red Wine in our February 9, 2019 "Big Taste" of The Vineyard Wine Tasting Event.
Our Oregon wines display the signature Erath profile: fruit-forward, ideal for everyday drinking.
|Region||United States, Oregon|
Wine SpectatorSleek and easy to sip, with floral cherry and spice flavors that linger on the long, snappy finish. Drink now through 2023.
Wine AdvocatePale to medium ruby-purple, the 2016 Pinot Noir has very fresh, crisp fruit on the nose: crunchy cranberry, tart cherry and warm blackberry with cinnamon stick and dried leaves. Light to medium-bodied, it gives good concentration of bright raspberry and cherry notes in the mouth with soft spicy accents, a silky texture and very soft tannins with plenty of juicy acidity, finishing long.
Wine EnthusiastThis is a solid example of mass-produced Oregon Pinot, with purple-berry fruits, tartaric acid and modest tannins. Nothing wrong with it at this price, but it borders on generic.
