Conway Cabernet Sauvignon, Happy Canyon 2013Conway Cabernet Sauvignon, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara, 2013 Our inaugural vintage of Conway Santa Barbara County Cabernet Sauvignon offers enticing aromas of Blackberry, Cassis, Vanilla, and sweet floral notes. Firm tannins add structure and complexity to rich layers of Blackberry, Dark Chocolate, and Plum. Each bottle of Conway Wine Represents our Family's passion for producing excellent wines that are meant to be shared and enjoyed by all. Harvest took place on several dates between October 5th and October 18th of 2013 according to grape maturity and optimum ripeness. All fruit was de-stemmed and sorted through a Pellanc, which is a state of- the-art sorting system designed to gently and accurately separate undesired stems from the grapes. Primary fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks. The wine was racked to barrels to complete malolactic fermentation. Aged for 16 months in 30% new French oak barrels and 70% neutral barrels. Granted AVA status in 2009, the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara appellation is quickly gaining popularity within our region and elsewhere. A sub-ava within the Santa Ynez Valley and the greater Santa Barbara region, Happy Canyon experiences the warmest temperatures in the valley,. This micro-climate is ideal for growing Boreaux varietals. The soil type is a mixture of loam and clay loam with red and yellow chert and serpentine cobbles. Historically, the area gets it name from the prohibition era, when simple alcohol was proceed nearby. Local lore has it that people would "take a trip up Happy Canyon" to purchase moonshine.

Poggio al Casone La Cattura 2015Purple ruby color, on the nose it displays notes of red berries, blackberry and hints of white pepper; in the mouth it is medium bodied, fresh and velvety with firm yet well integrated tannins. Mediterranean pasta dishes, poultry and vegetable soups. Serve at room temperature.

The fruit profile includes flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and plum. also, noteworthy are hints of vanilla, toffee, and cigar leaf. the balance and finish are round and full with silky tannins leaving a satisfying impression.
Quinta da Cassa Douro 2016We look for a selection of grapes that will allow us to obtain a more aromatic and fresh wine, medium weight, gourmet character and representing the terroir of the Douro Superior, with its very elegant notes of rock rose and black fruit and spices.
Layer Cake Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon 2016This Bourbon Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon both truly expresses the depth and complexity of the grape as well as the additional vanilla, toasty oak influence of the bourbon and charred barrel that result from 3 months aging in these barrels. The result is a wine that is dense, rich, and jammed with scents of blackberry and vanilla and a long, mouth coating finish complimented by a hint of sweetness.

Rich and robust aromas of blackberry, bing cherry, and black currants are accented with sage, dried herbs, espresso bean, and dark chocolate. Secondary aromas of hints of cigar box and vanilla fill the nose. Bold and full-bodied on the palate, this wine offers flavors of cherry, dried berries, and cassis with subtle mocha and truffle nuances. A firm but smooth texture of pure blackberry fruit and coffee brings this balanced wine a well-rounded finish.
Markham Cellar 1879 Red Blend 2015The best thing about our Cellar 1879 Blend is its ability to be enjoyed whenever with whatever is on the menu. We love the way the aromas of chocolate-covered cherry fruit with hints of black pepper & bacon make us want to enjoy it with bacon cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries. The boysenberry jam flavors are layered with orange peel, lush tannins and balanced acidity which always pair with something spicy like carnitas tacos heaped high with salsa fresca. Of course there are times when a simple glass to just unwind and contemplate what's next is apropos. Sometimes all you need is a cozy fire and a good book!
Bell The Scoundrel Red Blend 2016The Scoundrel is really a softy that just wants you to play. Summers Charbono 2016This vintage is a mid-full bodied wine with fruit aromas like blueberry with a hint of dried plum. It has a deep purple color and a robust, earthy flavor that makes Charbono different and distinctive from other wines. Great finish with surprising vitality from good acidity. A lovely wine of bold color and bright fruit. Food Pairings: Pairs with rack of lamb, gnocchi with tomato basil sauce.
