Graham Beck The Game Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
Wine AdvocateThe 2012 Game Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon has a direct blackberry and wild hedgerow-scented bouquet, touches of briar and cedar emerging with aeration. The palate is sweet on the entry with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit, touches of cedar and black pepper toward the conservative, traditional finish that needs more tension and complexity. This is a conservative but decent Cabernet.
Wine SpectatorDried cherry and currant fruit gives way quickly to raisin, cedar and licorice root notes, ending with a slightly trim and chewy feel. Drink now. 3,500 cases imported.
