Tilia Bonarda 2016
Wine AdvocateThe challenges of the vintage seem to have affected the 2016 Bonarda, which resulted in lower volume than in previous vintages. It has a balsamic and minty nose that made me think of Cabernet Sauvignon, with touches of basil leaves, a hint of curry and thyme, mostly aromas from the herbal side. It's a different expression of Bonarda, it might disconcert some. It finishes very tasty, even salty. 80,000 bottles were produced in 2016.
