J. Lohr Fog's Reach Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011
Wine AdvocateA ripe, textured effort, the 2011 Pinot Noir Fog's Reach offers up plenty of baked cherries, licorice and earthy nuances to go with a medium-bodied, supple and softly fruited palate. There's not a whole lot of back-end depth here, but it is fruit forward and very drinkable. I would enjoy it over the coming year or two. Drink now-2016.
Wine SpectatorFeatures cherry and plum flavors up front, showing details of spice and fresh earth. This is balanced and appealing, with the tannins lending traction. Drink now through 2018. 1,412 cases made.
