| Tastings & Events at The Vineyard
All of The Vineyard's tasting events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise stated in the event description. You are more than welcome to attend as as long as you are of legal drinking age, which we may ask you to prove with a valid MA license, Liquor ID, Military ID or Passport, and you taste responsibly. Sorry no out of state IDs are accepted at The Vineyard.
Saturday, February 27th, 5-8pm - "Big Taste" of The Vineyard We'll sample 50+ new wines from all over the world, representing all varietals and price ranges.
Saturday, March 20th, 3:30-5:30pm - Celebration of Beer We're inviting any local amateur brewer to enter his or her homemade brew (or brews...up to 12 max) with descriptions and contact information to The Vineyard. Jim Ogborn and Bill Dwyer from The Vineyard and a few handpicked customers will act as the tasting board. We'll screen the entries to come up with 6 brewers and approximately 18 beers.
On Saturday, March 20th we'll invite each of the brewers to come to The Vineyard and pour their handmade brew for any of you who are interested. All attendees will be asked to rate the beers and submit their ratings. We'll compile the results, name a winner and hand out some awards. Since we can't sell the beers these amateur brewers make, there is nothing in it for us except for a celebration of beer. And hey...that's good enough for us.
We've already received our first entry of 12 different brews and now were opening up the competition to any local amateur brewers. So if you are one, please ask a cashier for more information or contact The Vineyard at 978-688-5005 or info@thevineyard.com.
Saturday, March 27th, 4-6pm: Meet The Master of Whisky Master of Whisky Peter Zimmermann will discuss the history and origin of Scotland's most celebrated export. He'll also taste whiskies from the following distilleries:
* Dalwhinnie * Oban * The Singleton * Talisker * Lagavulin
